The hosts were absolutely awesome, very friendly, responsive, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. The place itself was extremely clean, well maintained, and had everything we needed to be comfortable. Perfect for snowmobiling with plenty of space for sleds and rigs. Everything was just as described, if not better. We had a great experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and enjoyable stay. We would definitely stay here again.

We had a fantastic time at ArrowRoot Trl,. The Place is absolutely beautiful, right across the street from the Lake. Has walking trails near by, fishing was peaceful, lots of area for off road adventures and once the snow starts to fly I’m sure the snowmobiling will be Epic. The place is a few miles from town so shopping and dining were a super easy trip. The house was very well put together, and on a dead end street so it was very peaceful to sit out and enjoy nature. We will definitely be looking forward to Rebooking for a Winter Wonderland getaway! Tia and Josh were very friendly and responsive to our needs. Thank you for the Wonderful Hospitality and the Opportunity to stay at your Beautiful Home!

Beautiful cabin with a side porch to die for! The open loft area would be great for a kids slumber party. We had problems with the heat but we understand it’s something that happens and he was fast to help fix the problem. Worth the stay!

Stayed for parents weekend at OU. Was very nice and clean, great deal especially considering you are getting a whole house/ cabin compared to a hotel room. We didn’t spend much time there due to the various activities we had planned at the university but it was very nice to come back after a long day and relax. We had two families, plenty of space, very clean and comfortable beds. It was about 20-25 minutes to Ohio University. It was a great place to stay. Highly recommend.

Josh’s cabin is absolutely stunning. The pictures on the listing don’t do it justice. We had a party of 9 and we fit comfortably. However, this cabin wouldn’t be considered “too much” for just a couples get away. The beds were very comfortable. The cabin was stocked with everything you’d need for your stay. We cannot wait to come back again! Thank you again for hosting us, it was exactly everything we needed!

This cabin is absolutely beautiful! I would love to build this exact cabin on our property in Michigan. Like your own little lodge. Any questions or concerns I had josh immediately answered my call. We went down to Ohio University Volleyball game which our daughter played also dads weekend on campus. Needless to say no vacancy in Athens but we’ve always had luck in local towns not to far away. Id do it again! Wish I could’ve spent more time to see the sights! Next time👍

A little pricey for what is offered. There was an excessive amount of bugs in the house and outside of the house. The Wi-Fi is completely unusable. We did have a serious sanitation issue with the toys that are offered for the kids. A previous renter must have gotten drunk and peed in the toy tub. Unfortunately my 3 year old son is the one who found this. Josh was extremely apologetic and offered to compensate for the issue. Josh was quick with responding.

Very tidy, nice living room furniture, reasonably convenient for getting to Nelsonville Music Festival considering the options for lodging in the area. Immediate response to questions, even early in the morning. Only real down side to me, which to some would be a plus: only a Keurig coffee maker. I think it would be great for there to be a regular drip coffee maker also. I like strong coffee and the waste created by the pods is a minus. The only reason I’d rent a different house next year would be if I can find something closer to NMF (which I doubt).

This cabin was well worth the money! It was very pretty, we were comfortable and able to relax. Things that made it like home were super helpful, like having things to cook with, and having toys upstairs that helped my kiddos with boredom on rainy days! Everything was super clean and neat. The location was a bit far from things, but it was an absolutely beautiful setting, so it was worth the trade off to us. Our daughter just returned from deployment and we were able to spend time as a family for the first time in 14 months. We couldn't have asked for a better place to be together. We will 100% be coming back and staying here again!

This is a very cute cabin! But Don’t expect to be able to do much comfortably around the fire outside, as the fire ring isn’t on level ground. But the cabin itself is very nice! Maybe bring extra washcloths as there aren’t many there. But washing things by hand adds to the memories made!

It's a cozy cabin for a group of 9 but it never felt too crowded. the deck over looking the side yard/hill was beautiful and offered more sitting space. Such a peaceful place to visit. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Excellent cabin with everything you need. Great looking location. Close to the trails, yet also close to world-class hunting. My family had a great time here. Masculine enough for a group of hunters (lots of racks and hunting-related decoration) but perfect for the family, my girls all loved it. From all the living appointments to the huge porch with seating for all, fire pit, grill, and more than the average place. Owner was super easy to work with. We will be going back. This place brought our family closer together. Don't bother eating out too much. You'll have more precious times around the big kitchen table or on the porch. Surrounded by forest, very private, yes there are a few neighbors, but you really can't see each other. Plenty of graveled parking area. Just looks great inside and out.
